DONUTS DELICIOUS BREAKFAST CAKE

From this time on, there was much heated up debate about how precisely doughnuts acquired the opening in the center -- some say it was a jerk to the steering tire of your ship, others say it was to avoid undercooking the middle. 

No matter what the reason, doughnuts got off; not too expensive, fast, and easy to produce, they became a primary snack food of Yankee troops during the first World Battle. The hungry boys came up home seeking more doughnuts, the first mechanized doughnut machine was built-in 1920, and the rest, i have heard it said, is history. Doughnuts were prominent throughout the  States, and were so inexpensive to generate that they were a food of the everyman, an achievable treat even during times of poverty or hardship.

Now,  "Doughnut" is the standard, (and if I may humbly say, accurate) name of such delightful treats. The word "donut" was gave when manufacturers started out to try to market the meals overseas -- they thought a shorter word might be catchier and much easier to remember for those who would never seen it.

Considerably, donuts  are playing a great role as the morning foods  of us all!
